THE CHALLENGE
Dialogue’s client Twitch, a globally recognized streaming platform, sought to launch its new sports vertical in the Latin American market by leveraging the Kings League—a groundbreaking 7-a-side soccer league created by Gerard Piqué, which held its first- ever Latin American event in Mexico this year. The goal was to position Twitch as a top platform for sports streaming, engaging Generation Z with traditional sports through interactive streaming experiences.
THE WORK
Dialogue’s PR teams developed media alerts to build anticipation for the Kings League event, secured interviews with local spokespersons for Tier 1 media, and shared post- event recaps highlighting record-breaking stats like the 83 million spectators on Twitch. Efforts included participation in the Sports Summit in São Paulo to showcase Twitch’s sports content innovation. Together, these strategies positioned Twitch as a go-to platform for sports enthusiasts across Latin America.
THE RESULTS
Dialogue achieved 50+ top-tier media placements across Latin America, including prominent outlets like Milenio, UOL Esporte, and Marca, with a combined monthly reach of over 1.8 billion views. Interviews with executives and popular streamers elevated Twitch’s presence in tech and sports media. Social media amplification extended the campaign’s reach by an estimated 3.3 million, solidifying Twitch’s influence in the sports streaming landscape across the region.
